  January 16, 2008 Dinner in honor of US Ambassador Michael Wood and State Secretary, Ministry Energy & Enterprise Joran Hagglund
   
  SACC-Detroit was honored to host a dinner January 16th for Swedish State Secretary, Ministry for Enterprise & Energy Joran Hagglund and US Ambassador to Sweden Michael Wood at Birmingham Country Club.

Many of the 70+ guests present for the dinner were affiliated with the alternative-energy business sector and included Ed Wall, Dept. of Energy; Jim Croce, NextEnergy; John Wilson, TMG Energy; Loch McCabe, Shepherd Advisors; Al Sobey, Al Sobey & Associates; Keith Hardy, Argonn National Lab; Steve Pueppke, MSU; and Doug Parks, MEDC. In addition, there were several Swedish government representatives in attendance.

Dinner sponsors included US Defense Services, Saab of Troy/Lakeside, Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems, MSU Office of Biobased Technologies, and Karin & Consul General Lennart Johansson.
