A record crowd of 115 members/guests was on hand at SACC-Detroit's Jul Luncheon & Annual Meeting on December 7th. James Epolito, President & CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) was the featured speaker and inspired the guests to think positively about the State of Michigan.
SACC-Detroit Chairman Urban Lundberg gave the welcoming address and thanked the sponsors: ABB, USDS, Skanska USA Building, and Securitas Security Services USA and benefactors: Saab Automobile USA and Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems.
Chairman Lundberg went on to introduce new 2007 members: Automation Alley, Saab of Troy, Skanska USA Building, SKF Automotive, Margit Conopask, Jennifer Jensen, Roger Lidgren, Bruno Lowinger, Mark Lundquist, Robert Sundell, Cindy Ulow, and Krister Johnsson.
Raffle donors included IKEA and ABB, Inc.
